The meeting was attended by Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Board of the Educational Student Loan Fund, Elnur Aliyev, Head of the Department for Organization and Management of General and Preschool Education of the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Heads of Regional Education Departments.
Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Board of the Educational Student Loan Fund, welcomed the guests. The Chairman of the Fund talked in detail about the activity of the Fund, types of student loans and rights to use them, as well as privileges to be applied. Araz Pashayev said that the main goal of the Fund is to increase access to education in the country, ensure the availability of education for all, especially the vulnerable groups, and improve the quality of education. At the same time the guests were presented the report for the fall semester of 2022-2023 academic year.
Then Elnur Aliyev, Head of the Department for Organization and Management of General and Preschool Education of the Ministry of Science and Education, informed the participants in detail about the purpose of the meeting and the opportunity for applicants in the regions to make better choices on the basis of educational student credits when entering higher education institutions.
Heads of regional departments of education presented statistical data reflecting the number of pupils in 9-11 final grades in their respective districts. They discussed issues of possible cooperation on these statistics and carrying out educational activities covering these classes in the districts under the jurisdiction of the regional departments of education.
Questions of heads of regional education departments were answered and their proposals were listened to.
The main purpose of the meeting was to inform university applicants that they can take advantage of the opportunities created by the Fund when choosing the specialty of their dreams during the final exams.
