Education student loan realized the dream of joint higher education of twin brothers
Without the Education Student Loan Fund, they would not have been able to realize their dreams of becoming students of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy, and would not have been able to study in a group as they had planned.
This was said by the twin brothers of Gasimzade, who spoke to "Azerbaijan teacher".
Brothers Karim and Kamran Gasimzadeh are from Salyan district. They were born and raised in Albatan village of the district. They went to secondary school number 4 of Salyan city. Both are big football fans. They studied in the same class and played in the same team. They are sitting behind a desk in a classroom. They graduated from school at the same time and participated in entrance exams to higher education institutions. The results were successful, the brothers were admitted to the specialty they wanted, but they thought that their dreams would be cut short because of the fees.
"Without the support of the Education Student Loan Fund, my brother and I's dream of studying in the same group at the university would not have come true. One of us would study in a different major."
From this academic year, they are studying "Mechanics" at the faculty of operation of ship power plants of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy. The brothers, who are first-year students, had the opportunity to study in the same specialty by taking a loan from the Education Student Loan Fund. According to Karim Gasimzadeh, they learned about such a possibility during the selection of a specialty: "They informed us about the education loan at the "ASAN service" center. We learned the terms of the loan, the advantages of this loan and decided there. I got 331 points and my brother got 335 points. None of us would be able to study the specialty we wanted based on the state order. The passing score for the state-ordered place in this specialty was 370 points. We were delighted to hear about the loan opportunity. Both of us would be able to study in the specialty we want."
According to Karim, the family's means would allow only one of them to pay for their education. The other had to focus on a different specialty: "This meant that we were separated from each other, which neither of us wanted. As soon as we found out that we can take advantage of the educational loan opportunity, we both chose the same major."
They have shared every moment of life since the day they came into the world. They achieved every success together in the world where they came as equals. Without one, success has become secondary for the other and they have already reached the age of youth. They say that they will live their youth to the fullest: "We won the support of the Education Student Loan Fund at the time when we felt the need the most. We will do our best not to lose this support. We will even try to get a discount of a certain percentage of the loan we took after studying with excellent results."
