The state’s youth policy, as a priority issue, has always been under the constant control of the Great Leader, and the care, attention, and support shown to the youth in every step aimed at youth and the future has formed a great sense of confidence in the Azerbaijani youth. Today, youth, which is the main force of society and a direct supporter of this force, is successfully continuing this policy by the esteemed President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who is a direct supporter in the further development of this force every passing day.
Azerbaijani youth are always full of great hopes and a rich desire for the future, and the realization of every purposeful desire results in a positive impact on the development of society. However, sometimes there are situations when high tuition fees, financial difficulties and other obstacles sometimes overshadow the desire of young people to study. In order to overcome these difficulties and make education accessible to everyone, the Education Student Loan Fund, established by Decree No. 1367 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021, has been operating for the 4th year. The main purpose of establishing the Fund, which operates under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is to ensure access to education for people from low-income groups of the population, create equal opportunities in obtaining education, and expand the scope of education.
The Fund provides financial support for tuition fees to students studying in Azerbaijan on a full-time and paid basis, and its main principle is to provide the country's youth with the opportunity to receive education to build their future careers, as well as to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
The Education Student Loan Fund, a new ray of hope for the youth of our country, has today formalized its 50,000th education student loan agreement, and this happy coincidence fell on Panahova Laman Mehdi, a 4th-year student studying Azerbaijani language and literature teaching at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (Shamakhi branch).
TTKF is not just a financial support, but also a symbol of thousands of young people achieving their dreams. Thanks to the student loan, each student can continue their education without having to pay tuition fees and take an important step towards building their future. For example, Panahova Laman, a student studying at the Shamakhi branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, which formalized the 50,000th contract on education loans, entered the university with the desire to become a teacher, but had difficulty continuing her education due to financial difficulties. With the support of TTKF, she is already preparing to graduate and intends to share her knowledge with the new generation in the future. Examples like these show how great the Foundation’s influence is. Today, as the Foundation, we have touched the lives of thousands of students. Every touch is a success story in itself. The formalization of education student loan agreements has been a salvation point not only for students, but also for their families. Thus, students who have difficulty paying their tuition fees can now take advantage of this opportunity and continue their education.

Since the Fund was established until today, more than 64 thousand student applications have been received in the Fund's electronic system, of which a little more than 50 thousand applications have been positively responded to and education student loans have been formalized. If we note in terms of percentage, 78% of applicants were provided with TKK. Thus, the Fund has managed to make education more accessible to thousands of students, expand the scope of education and create equal opportunities in obtaining education. It should be noted that the target priority for the 2024-2025 calendar year is 60,000 by the end of the year. The path to achieving the goal, the realization of the desire of more young people to receive education is close. The Education Student Loan Fund, which intensively reaches these indicators, works to train successful, knowledgeable and strong leaders not only of today, but also of tomorrow.
