Chairman of the Board of the Educational Student Loan Fund Araz Pashayev met with students of Baku Slavic University.
Member of the National Assembly Malahat Ibrahimghizi underlined the Fund provides great opportunities for Azerbaijani youth in the conditions of global competition. She noted this project has a special place among social projects implemented by President Ilham Aliyev.
Rector of Baku Slav University, PhD in Political Science Anar Nagiyev opened the event with opening remarks, talked of reforms in field of education and measures taken to increase quality of education in the country. He emphasized that the creation of the Student Loan Fund is a key indicator of the state's concern for higher education and its support for disadvantaged youth. The rector said the main purpose of the meeting was to provide information about the importance of student loans and the opportunities they create for students.
Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Board of the Fund, said in his remarks that the main purpose of the Fund is to increase access to education in the country and to ensure the improvement of its academic quality. He provided extensive information about the Foundation's activities, history, and general requirements for applying to the Student Loan Fund.
Mushfig Mammadli, a member of the National Assembly and a member of the Committee on Science and Education, praised the Fund for ensuring access to education, creating equal opportunities for students, and expanding the field of education.
During the meeting, the mechanism of the electronic system was demonstrated, the questions on the topic were answered, and suggestions were recorded. We express our gratitude to the staff of Baku Slavic University for organizing the event at a high level!
