A meeting was held between representatives of the Educational Student Loan Fund and representatives of Baku Business University. At the information meeting Bahruz Azimov, the Deputy Chairman of the Educational Student Loan Fund, and employee of the Fund Agcha Mammadova provided extensive information about the activities of the Fund, the rules for applying to the Fund, the criteria for granting educational student loans.
There was a discussion on students registered for academic year 2021-2022, and after the presentation of the Fund's members about the educational student loans, the questions of responsible persons and students were answered and their proposals were recorded.
It was emphasized that the primary purpose of the Fund is to make education accessible through the student loan system. It was noted that 131 applications from Baku Business University were processed in the Educational Student Loan Fund in the fall semester: social loans were granted to 58 students and standard loans to 73 students.
The meeting was attended by vice-rector for academic affairs Xatira Azizova, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, associate professor Afide Hasanova, dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, PhD Shahin Musayev, director of the Student Admission and Public Relations Center Ali Bagirzade, assistant rector Kavidan Heydarov, president of the student youth organization Turan Abbasli.
