Cooperation Memorandum was signed with Baku Eurasia University
On October 25, a memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Educational Student Loan Fund (TTKF) and Baku Eurasian University (BAAU).
At the meeting held before the signing event, Bahruz Azimov, who is temporarily acting as the chairman of the Board of Directors of TTKF, gave information about the activities of the Foundation. It was reported that until today, about 54,000 applications have been submitted to the Fund's electronic portal, and more than 43,000 TTK contracts have been formalized. It was noted that there is a wide potential for more people to benefit from the education student loan, and the importance of further expansion of the propaganda and campaigning activities carried out for this purpose.
Rector of BAAU, associate professor Sayavush Gasimov, emphasized that educational student loans support students' achievement of their academic goals and reducing the financial burden, and noted that more than 600 students of BAAU have already benefited from this opportunity.
After that, a signing ceremony was held with the participation of the academic-administrative staff of the University and students. First, the dear memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of our people, and our martyrs, who died for the territorial integrity of our country, was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, S. Gasimov said that the University attaches importance to this cooperation, and that the Memorandum will play an important role in the training of personnel in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. B. Azimov, on his part, emphasized the importance of the Memorandum signed with BAAU, and noted that the goal of the Foundation is to provide state support and care for young people to get the higher education they desire. He pointed out that he believes that the cooperation established with this higher educational institution will be useful in the academic and professional development of the students. It was stated that the projects to be implemented jointly with the university will significantly contribute to the improvement of students' knowledge and skills, and the measures aimed at career development will make a significant contribution to their better preparation for the labor market.
Natella Guliyeva, head of BAAU's Education Organization Department, presented statistics on the use of student loans by students. He said that from 2021 until now, applications of 828 students from BAAU have been registered, of which 631 applications have been formalized. 258 of them took social and 373 standard education student loans. In the current academic year, it was reported that there were 206 applications, of which 158 students' applications were formalized.
