"Global HR SUMMIT 2023" was held in Azerbaijan for the first time
On April 20 the event "Global HR SUMMIT 2023" was held in Baku with the participation of managers of local and international companies, human resource specialists, officials of state organizations and entrepreneurs with the support of NEQSOL Holding, ABB, Anzera, Amrop, Educational Student Loan Fund, OBA, MKT HR LLC. The event was attended by representatives of the Educational Student Loan Fund.
Emil Huseynov, Founder and Director of the Azerbaijan Institute for Human Resource Management, announced that the "Global HR SUMMIT 2023" event is a global summit aimed at sharing innovative practices and modern technologies, as well as various experiences through dialogues, discussions and exchange of ideas in the field of human resource management worldwide. The summit is based on the priority "Competitive Human Capital and Modern Innovations", which is the third of 5 national priorities planned for implementation in the next ten years within the framework of the "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Social and Economic Development" program approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated 2 February 2021.
The main slogan of the Global HR Summit is the 8th UN Sustainable Development Goal 2016-2030 "Decent Work and Economic Growth". UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability network with more than 15,000 companies and more than 5,000 members from more than 160 countries, is the main partner of the Summit.
The event brought together human resource directors from local and international companies, executives from the world's leading consulting firms and government officials to discuss the latest innovations and future expectations in human resource management on a single platform for the first time. Participants at the event gained new insights and experience on topics such as decent work and strengthening global human resources, digital human resources and artificial intelligence, strategic perspectives of human resource leaders, and more.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Institute of HR has successfully held "Baku International HR Forum" and "Baku International CEO Summit" events in 2022.
