In order to achieve the main goals of the "Education Student Loan Fund" established by Decree No. 1367 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021 - to ensure access to education for people from low-income groups of the population, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the scope of education. Propaganda and promotion activities are continued by the fund. As a continuation of these events that started last week in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, meetings were held today in secondary schools and high schools located in Yasamal and Binagadi districts of Baku. 9th, 10th and 11th grade students participated in the meetings held in 5 general education institutions in each region.
The employees of the fund informed the meeting participants about the activity, objectives and set goals of the TTKF, as well as the rules for applying for an education student loan, types of loans, applicable discounts, payment conditions, etc. detailed information was given. It was reported that those who are studying part-time at the bachelor's and master's (residency) levels of higher education, at the secondary vocational education level, and at the high technical and technical vocational education levels of the vocational education level can take advantage of the education student loan. It was noted that more than 40,000 applications have been submitted to the Fund and more than 32,000 of them have been allocated educational loans.
It was brought to the attention of the participants of the meeting that the education loan is transferred directly to the accounts of the institutions where the students study, and the student, who has solved an important issue such as the tuition fee, gets the opportunity to focus on personal development and increasing his knowledge, being freed from this concern.
At the end, the questions of the participants were answered and suggestions were heard.
It should be noted that the Foundation will continue to promote, promote and raise awareness. For this purpose, visits to the capital and other regions of our country will be organized in the coming days.
