On April 20 at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASNIU) a meeting was held between Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Educational Student Loan Fund and Melahat Ibrahimqizi, Member of the Azerbaijani National Assembly, and the students of the university.
The meeting was attended by National Assembly deputy Melahat Ibragimkizi, Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Educational Student Loan Fund, Qasim Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and students of the university.
During the meeting Melahat Ibrahimkizi spoke about the successful results of youth policy in our country, emphasizing the special attention paid to young people, including students studying in higher education institutions. She noted new projects and programs are implemented today to help students achieve more successes in education and get support during education process.
During the informative meeting Chairman of the Educational Student Loan Fund Araz Pashayev provided detailed information on the activities, application procedures and criteria for granting student loans. He noted that the main goal of the Fund is not only to ensure the availability of education, but also to create equal opportunities for education, expand the scope of education and improve its quality.
Vice-rector for academic affairs of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University Qasim Mammadov emphasized the importance of establishing the Fund to pay tuition fees for students. At the end of the meeting students had an opportunity to ask questions on the topic. The organizers were highly appraised for holding the meeting at a high level.
