The Education Student Loan Fund continues to conduct promotional activities in schools.
Educational meetings were organized by the Education Student Loan Fund at secondary schools No. 86, 191, 245, 257 and 261 in Khatai district. Students of grades 9-11 and their parents participated in these meetings. The main purpose of the meetings was to provide detailed information about educational loans and explain to students and parents how they can benefit from these opportunities.
During the meetings, important points such as the activities of the Education Student Loan Fund, rules for granting loans, grace periods and interest rates were discussed. Educational loans are intended especially for young people who want to get higher education, but have limited opportunities due to financial difficulties.
There are certain conditions for obtaining an educational loan. Students and parents were informed about these conditions. Thus, loans are provided to full-time and paid students studying at the bachelor's and master's (residency) levels of higher education, as well as at the levels of secondary specialized education and vocational education (technical vocational and higher technical vocational education).
During the meetings, students and parents were also provided with extensive information about the terms of loan repayment. A certain grace period is provided to the student for loan repayment. During this period, the student has the opportunity to find a job after graduation and improve his financial situation. The main rules are as follows:
Grace period – After completing his education, the student does not start repaying the loan for a certain period of time. During this period, the opportunity to find a job and improve his financial situation is created.
Interest rates – The interest rates of educational loans have been set relatively low by the state, which gives students the opportunity to repay comfortably.
These meetings help students better plan their future. Often, families are unaware of the existence and rules of educational loans. Such meetings expand students' opportunities to obtain higher education and help reduce financial barriers.
During the meetings, parents and students asked various questions.
These educational meetings organized by the Educational Student Loan Fund were very useful for students and parents. They were able to obtain detailed information about educational loans and determine their future plans more precisely. Holding such events on a continuous basis is an important step in terms of expanding access to education.
