The next Career Fair was held at Baku State University.
On May 27, 2025, the next Career Fair was organized at Baku State University (BSU) to support the integration of students and graduates into the labor market. Traditionally, this event, held annually, aims to expand the opportunities for young people to enter the world of work and promote their professional development.
More than 100 leading enterprises and organizations of the country participated in the fair. Students and graduates were presented with more than 1,200 vacancies and up to 500 internship programs, creating conditions for them to communicate directly with employers, evaluate cooperation opportunities and gain real experience.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair, Rector of Baku State University, Associate Professor Elchin Babayev emphasized that such events play an important role in the university's personnel training in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. The Rector noted that students are not satisfied with only theoretical knowledge, but also develop their practical skills, creating an important foundation for building a successful career. He also specifically noted the importance of the existing close relations with companies and organizations cooperating with the university.
In the continuation of the event, the University administration and invited guests got acquainted with the exhibition stands of state institutions and private companies and exchanged views on expanding cooperation prospects.
The Educational Student Loan Fund (TSLF) also actively participated in the event. Bahruz Azimov, Chairman of the Board of the Fund, provided Rector Elchin Babayev with detailed information on the Fund's activities, services provided, financial support mechanisms created for students, and results achieved.
At the same time, discussions were held on establishing relations with employers participating in the Career Fair regarding the integration of students who benefit from educational student loans and graduates into the labor market, and potential cooperation opportunities.
The TSLF stand aroused special interest among the exhibition participants. The Fund's employees provided students with detailed information on educational student loans, application procedures, and rules for using the electronic portal, as well as provided extensive explanations on the Fund's social projects and activities carried out to ensure accessibility of education.
