The results of the analysis conducted by the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population have been announced. Heads of the Education Student Loan Fund, State Agency for Science and Higher Education, State Agency for Vocational Education and State Agency for Preschool and General Education participated in the meeting held for this purpose.
It was noted that in order to determine the structure of the labor resources at the educational levels (bachelor, master and secondary qualification), which forms the current and future supply in the labor market, and to reveal the general picture of current trends by using the data of EMAS, as well as for the purpose of preliminary assessment of employment in various specialties, the Labor Market and The analysis was carried out by the National Observatory of Social Security Issues. The analyzes were prepared on the basis of contract data of the Education Student Loan Fund and IMAS. The data covered a 10-year period (2013-2022) at the bachelor's level of education, and a 7-year period (2016-2022) at the master's level and secondary education.
At the meeting, a report on a survey conducted among pupils and students studying in higher and secondary educational institutions was also presented. 558 respondents from 9-11th grade students in 7 cities and districts of Azerbaijan, 1773 students from 8 universities located in Baku and Sumgait cities took part in the survey.
