Actuarial Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis and management of P&C product pricing and tariffs
Initiating preliminary product development activities, determining insurance products and tariffs based on actuarial principles, and providing recommendations for further development
Monitoring loss ratios and premium trends based on segmentation and providing recommendations for improvement and development in this area
Providing analytical support to the team as required
Placing strong emphasis on professional development, successfully passing relevant actuarial examinations, and specializing in the actuarial field
Requirements:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Cybernetics, or other technical disciplines
Candidates who have taken the FM or P examinations will be given preference
Candidates with at least 1 year of actuarial experience in the insurance sector will be given preference
Knowledge
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SQL and similar analytical tools
Skills
Ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities
Strong teamwork skills
Analytical and creative thinking, as well as strong problem-solving skills
Strong discipline and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
