On the initiative of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, with the support of the State Agency for Education and Vocational Training under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Educational Student Loan Fund, a social and counseling hour was organized for residents of orphanages No. 1, 2 and 3 on May 25, 2023.
The event was held to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of human trafficking for graduates of state children's institutions and to improve the living conditions of orphans left without parental care.
Children from vulnerable groups were given detailed information about professions that meet labor market requirements, about accepting documents to vocational education institutions, and about effective loans provided by the Educational Student Loan Fund and intended for use by vulnerable students when enrolling in vocational, secondary special and higher education institutions on a fee-for-service basis.
At the end of the event, the children's questions were answered.
