A meeting was held between representatives of the Educational Student Loan Fund and representatives of the Azerbaijan Medical University.
Professor Sabir Aliyev, vice-rector for education and treatment of AMU, spoke and said that it is very important to create a loan fund for the payment of students' tuition fees. Professor S. Aliyev noted that a working group was established at the Medical University regarding the implementation of the President's decree dated 17.11.2021. More than 60 students have already applied to the commission for obtaining a loan for payment of tuition fees.
Bahruz Azimov, Deputy Chairman of the Educational Student Loan Fund, informed the participants of the meeting about the activities of the institution. He noted that loan applications for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year have already been accepted through the portal created by the foundation. B. Azimov also said that a series of meetings were held with universities and students in order to promote the working principles of the Education Student Loan Fund.
