In order to achieve the main goals of the "Education Student Loan Fund" established by Decree No. 1367 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021 - to ensure access to education for people from low-income groups of the population, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the scope of education. Traditional propaganda and promotion work has been started by the fund. For this purpose, meetings were held today with those studying in higher educational institutions, secondary schools and colleges located in Baku.
The employees of the fund informed the participants about the activity, goals and objectives of the TTKF, as well as the rules for applying for an education student loan, types of loans, applicable discounts, repayment conditions, etc. detailed information was given. It was reported that those who are studying part-time at the bachelor's and master's (residency) levels of higher education, at the secondary vocational education level, and at the higher technical and technical vocational education levels of the vocational education level can benefit from the education student loan. It was noted that more than 54,000 applications have been submitted to the Fund, and about 42,000 educational student loan contracts have been formalized.
It was brought to the attention of the participants of the meeting that the education loan is transferred directly to the accounts of the institutions where the students study, and the student, who has solved an important issue such as the tuition fee, gets the opportunity to focus on personal development and increasing his knowledge, being freed from this concern.
At the end, the questions of the participants were answered and suggestions were heard.
It should be noted that the Fund's promotion, promotion and education work was carried out by secondary schools numbered 31, 176, 225, 286 and 308, the College of Finance and Economics under the State University of Azerbaijan, the Baku State Vocational Training Center for Aviation and Motor Transport, the State Under the President of Azerbaijan It covered the Academy of Management, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Western Caspian University and Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy.
