On October 23, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Education Student Loan Fund and "Shamkir Agropark" LLC.
Tahir Khalafov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTKF, informed about the work done by the Foundation. He said that the main goal of the "Education Student Loan Fund" created by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021 No. 1367 is to ensure access to education for people from low-income groups, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the scope of education. It was noted that during the short period of its operation, the Fund received approximately 55 thousand applications and signed more than 43 thousand educational student loan contracts.
Tahir Khalafov, the deputy chairman of the board of directors, spoke about the work carried out by the Foundation in the direction of increasing the employment opportunities of those who have benefited from TTK, providing employment to graduates. He noted that after completing their studies, the Foundation is constantly working to find a decent place for themselves in the labor market and provide them with permanent employment, and cooperation is established with representatives of the public and private sectors.
Director of "Shamkir Agropark" LLC Faig Bakhshiyev highly appreciated the activities of the Education Student Loan Fund. Stating that the memorandum will make a great contribution to the deepening of cooperation between TTKF and "Shamkir Agropark" LLC, F. Bakhshiyev said that there are ample opportunities for employment in "Shamkir Agropark" LLC, especially for young people who have studied in agriculture, production, laboratory and other similar fields.
The Memorandum, which will serve to establish mutually beneficial relations, envisages the organization of joint activities for the purpose of supporting voluntary and internship programs, including seminars and trainings, involving students and graduates in internship programs according to their qualifications, giving preference to students and graduates who have benefited from education student loans if vacancies arise in the relevant field. . At the same time, this memorandum aims to increase job opportunities for young people in the field of agriculture and production, and to support small and medium entrepreneurship.
It should be noted that Shamkir Agropark is the first agricultural project in the "agropark" format in the South Caucasus and consists of two parts: a logistics center and an agricultural area. The services provided include sorting, cold storage, packaging and sales of agricultural products.
