A meeting was held between the Education Student Loan Fund and Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. Tahir Khalafov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, informed about the work done by TTKF. It was reported that during the period of operation of TTKF, whose main goal is to provide access to education for people from low-income groups, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the scope of education, the electronic portal received about 54 thousand applications, and more than 43 thousand TTK contracts were formalized.
Ahmed Malikov, vice-rector for educational affairs of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, highly appreciated the activities of the Educational Student Loan Fund, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and stated that the establishment of TTKF is a unique opportunity for students studying on a paid basis. It was noted that there is an increase in the dynamics of the use of the Fund by students receiving paid education at ADAU, and there is a greater potential for expanding cooperation in this field.
Within the framework of the meeting, the works carried out to support students and graduates to return the loans they took in the future, the actions carried out in the framework of cooperation with private and state enterprises, joining training programs to support increasing their employment opportunities, ensuring their participation in labor fairs and providing employment in entrepreneurial entities located in the region opinions were exchanged.
