Education Student Loan Fund Holds an Awareness-Raising Meeting at Nakhchivan State University
An awareness-raising meeting for students was held at Nakhchivan State University with the participation of a delegation from the Education Student Loan Fund (TTKF).
During the meeting, Bahruz Azimov, Chairman of the Board of TTKF, provided information about the Fund's five years of activity, its main objectives, and the results achieved. He highlighted the importance of education student loans in expanding educational opportunities for young people and increasing access to education.
Bahruz Azimov explained the eligibility requirements for social and standard education student loans, the application and formalization procedures, repayment rules, as well as available benefits and deferment options. He also informed students about responsible borrowing and the development of a credit history.
Cabbar Huseynli, a representative of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke about the government's support for young people's education. Referring to the measures concerning Nakhchivan State University outlined in President Ilham Aliyev's Decree dated August 12, 2026, “On Additional Measures to Accelerate the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” he encouraged students to make effective use of the opportunities provided.
At the end of the meeting, students' questions were answered, and clarification was provided on matters related to education student loans.
