On April 7, with the participation of education experts Kamran Asadov, Farhad Parvizi and Adil Veliyev, Chairman of the Board of Educational Student Loan Fund Araz Pashayev held a briefing with media representatives.
At the briefing, the report on education loans formalized by the Fund for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year was presented to media representatives. It was noted that during the fall semester, the Fund received 3,590 completed applications. Out of the received applications, 2899 students' loans were approved. Of the formalized loans, 1,116 are social applications, and 1,783 are applications for standard loans. Azerbaijan State University of Economics (229), Baku State University (192) and Ganja State University (170) were the educational institutions with the most educational loans.
In addition, it was reported that a total of 195 educational student loans were allocated to two or more members of the same family. Of these, 1 family has 3 students, and 96 families have 2 students each.
It should be noted that the Educational Student Loan Fund regularly holds meetings with the mass media and representatives of educational institutions, public and political figures, educational experts and other interested parties.
