By the Decree N 1367 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from June 17, 2021 in order to provide the access to education for people from low-income population, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the sphere of education the Educational Student Loan Fund was established under the Ministry of Science and Education.
The procedure for granting student education loans at the expense of the Fund is carried out in a completely transparent manner, in an interactive way through an electronic service without any contact with the citizen, in accordance with the Regulations approved by Decree № 226 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 24, 2021.
In order to get the educational student loans for II semester of 2021-2022 academic year, 4,919 people applied to the electronic system belonging to the Fund, and 3,916 of them applied. Of those applicants, 1,366 used the social TTK and 2,550 used the standard TTK .
