The Educational Student Loan Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education was established by the Decree No. 1367 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021 in order to provide the access to education for the low-income population, create equal opportunities for education and expand the sphere of education.
The procedure of granting student educational loans at the expense of the Fund is carried out completely transparently, interactively through electronic service without any contact with the citizen, in accordance with the approved by Decree № 226 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 24, 2021.
Until April 12, 2023, in order to obtain the educational student loans for II semester 2022-2023 academic year, 5282 people applied to the electronic system belonging to the Fund, including 3655 students. 2,367 took advantage of the social TTK and 1,288 benefited from the standard TTK.
Applications continue to be accepted for TTK for the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The number of applications is changing at an increasing rate.
