TTKF was represented at the "TahsildaSEN-2" education festival.
On April 28, a Forum was organized within the framework of the "TahsildaSEN-2" educational festival. At the forum, presentations of 12 local and foreign speakers were heard on topics such as modern education directions and requirements, important factors in career choice, the role of the teacher in education, inclusive education, and psychological services in education.
In his presentation, Tahir Khalafov, the deputy chairman of the TTKF management board, talked about the Fund's activities, goals and achieved results. He said that the development of education in our country is one of the priority directions of the state policy. One of the clearest examples of the attention and care shown by the head of the country to education is the Education Student Loan Fund. The main goal of the "Education Student Loan Fund" established by the Decree No. 1367 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 17, 2021 is to ensure access to education for people from low-income groups of the population, to create equal opportunities for education and to expand the scope of education. About 35,000 students have benefited from this opportunity during the short period of its activity.
It was brought to the attention of the forum participants that the education loan is transferred directly to the accounts of the institutions where the students study, and the student, who has solved an important issue such as tuition fees, gets the opportunity to focus on personal development and increasing his knowledge, freed from this concern.
T. Khalafov also said that continuous work is being done by the Foundation in order to improve the employment opportunities of the students who benefited from TTKF. He noted that in order to increase the professional skills of students and graduates, involving them in internship programs according to the requirements of the labor market, ensuring their participation in career fairs, and creating conditions for them to test and develop their skills in various fields, cooperation with the leading representatives of the public and private sectors has been established.
