Expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan University of Technology has been agreed.
A meeting was held between the Education Student Loan Fund and Azerbaijan University of Technology. Tahir Khalafov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of TTKF, informed about the work done by the Foundation at the meeting held for the purpose of expanding mutual relations. It was reported that more than 43,000 people benefited from the opportunities created by the Foundation and managed to have their education fees covered by TTKF. It was noted that there is a wide potential for more people to benefit from the education student loan, and the importance of further expansion of the propaganda and campaigning activities carried out for this purpose.
Rector of Azerbaijan University of Technology v.m.i.e. Yashar Omarov noted that more than 80% of students at AMU study on a paid basis. It was reported that the Education Student Loan Fund, which is a clear example of the president's concern for education, freed thousands of students from the worry of tuition fees and created an opportunity for them to focus on their personal development and increasing their knowledge. Emphasizing that the concessions applied especially for students with high academic results make an important contribution to the improvement of the quality of education, Y.Omarov also highly appreciated the educational work carried out by the Foundation so that more students can benefit from TTK at AMU.
During the meeting, ideas were exchanged about the work carried out to support the students and graduates to repay the loans they took in the future, and the measures taken in the framework of cooperation with private and state enterprises.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to take joint steps to support the increase of employment opportunities for students and graduates, to join training programs, ensure their participation in labor fairs, and provide employment in business entities located in the region.
