The Educational Student Loan Fund was established under the Ministry of Science and Education by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan 1367 on June 17, 2021 in order to provide access to education for people from low-income groups, create equal opportunities for education and expand the sphere of education.
Granting of educational student loans at the expense of the Fund is carried out completely transparently, interactively through an electronic service, without any contact to the citizen, in accordance with the Regulations approved by Decree № 226 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 24, 2021.
In the first semester of academic year 2021-2022, 5,678 students applied to the electronic system owned by the Foundation, and 2,899 students applied. Of these applications, 1,116 used the social TTK and 1783 used the standard TTK.
